FREE Courses from Stanford and other famous universities

More free classes are available from Standford and other famous universities. How I wish these were available during my time at college. They would have been a great supplement to my professors. Maybe you might be wondering why there are still universities while you can attend online. It's not really the lectures, it's the environment in a university that drives people to do go there. Having a place to study and find people to talk to is the best environment for innovation as opposed to being cooped up in a room. It may work for some people but for most it isn't really inefficient. Just imagine the difference between asking an expert and looking through a book for an answer.

Anyway, you can find these free courses on www.udacity.com and coursera.org

Some of the courses available are:

@Udacity.com
cs101: Building a Search Engine
cs212: Design of Computer Programs
cs253: Web Application Engineering
cs262: Programming Languages
cs373: Programming A Robotic Car
cs387: Applied Cryptography
